Lehi: Suzuki Violin School Star Wars Recital

Post by Handyman » Thu Aug 09, 2018 4:30 pm

Greetings Everyone,

The U.S.S. Imperial Squad has been invited to participate in the Suzuki Violin School's Star Wars themed recital. The program is designed to be interactive with the audience. The recital will tell the story of Star Wars through the repertoire learned by the violin students over the past few months. They would like certain characters to be introduced throughout the program and then walk around the stage as the narration talks about their character. Afterwards, they would like us to pose for photos in a photo booth. I'm still gathering details and will update ASAP.

What: Suzuki Violin School Star Wars Recital
When: Saturday, August 25, 2018 - 10:30am - 12:30pm (Arrive at 10am)
Where: Lehi High School Gym, 180 North 500 East, Lehi

Do we know yet what we'll be doing on stage yet? I'm worried a bit about going up and down stairs in front of an entire audience.

This event went very well and was quite different than anything we've ever done before. The kids did, in fact, play selections from the Star Wars score in addition to songs they have been learning. I've got a lot of great photos and video and will be posting them very soon.
